Product Description
The threaded shaft coupling is a relatively simple rigid coupling that uses threaded connection to achieve the connection and torque transmission between two shafts. It is usually composed of two threaded sleeves (or half-couplings) and an intermediate connector such as a sleeve, nut, or joint. One end of each sleeve is machined with an internal or external thread. The other end of the sleeve is fixed to the ends of the two shafts to be connected by means of keys, set screws, clamps, etc. The two ends of the intermediate connector are machined with corresponding external or internal threads to match the threads of the two sleeves.
